Russian 2204

This course is for students who have had four or five semesters of college-level Russian. It teaches conversation, reading, writing, translation, and selected topics from Russian grammar. It includes work with authentic video materials (clips from Russian films or documentaries), reading unabridged Russian prose (fiction and/or newspapers), writing weekly essays, and other activities. The discussion in class is almost exclisively in Russian.

The course meets four times a week. Prerequisites: Russian 203 or equivalent. 3 credit hours/units.
